Dear Great Falls Families,

I want to welcome you back to the 2015-2016 school year. It is with great pride and honor that I write this letter of introduction to you as the Assistant Principal of Great Falls School. I am excited to be in this position, and look forward to assisting Mrs. Fortier, and working with our dedicated staff and community, to help provide the best educational experience for our students. I truly believe that our school is "Succeeding today to be ready for tomorrow."
I have lived in Gorham with my family for over twenty years and raised three children, each who graduated from the Gorham school system. I began my career in Gorham schools as an educational technician at the White Rock School. I served as a fourth grade classroom teacher at Village School for fourteen years. I have also been both a classroom teacher, and most recently, math and literacy lead teacher, here at Great Falls School. I truly enjoy the time I spend at school, building relationships with staff, students and families.
I feel very fortunate to be able to work as assistant principal in our wonderful community. The elementary school years are an important time of growth and development for children. I believe parents, teachers, support staff and administrators are partners in education. We work together to know the uniqueness of each of our students in order to help all of our students succeed.
Frequent communication is the key to success.  I look forward to working with each and every one of you as the school year progresses.  I am here to support you and your children in any way that I can.

Please feel free to stop at my office to say hello, as my door is always open! I wish your family, and especially your student, great success during this new school year.
